ABOUT US

Since 10 years WOODNITE (formerly 4B Acoustic Trio) has been an exciting acoustic act in Italy and Europe with hundreds of concerts as headliners or opening acts for big Italian artists.

Starting as a cover band, in the years the group have collected a wide repertoire that goes from the rock ‘n roll era to the most modern and catchy pop songs of our times, great blues songs, country-rock classics as well as hard rock and brit pop hits are just some elements of the band’s musical offer.

Since all the members of the group are also skilled songwriters they can entertain the audience with many great original songs which they usually alternate with the various covers.

In 2017 they recorded their first album “Unplug the world” whose title says a lot about the intentions of the band.

Through 10 years of live performances, they reached almost 400 gigs, many of them in foreign countries like Poland, Slovakia, Germany and Armenia.

With WOODNITE (formerly 4B Acoustic Trio) what you get is the elegance of an unplugged with the energy of a rock band.

VOCALS, CAJON

Giuliano Velliscig:

“I started to play live in 2004 and until 2010 I have been the frontman of EXEMPLA and AKHTAMAR, two progressive metal bands with original setlist. In 2008 I built up 4B ACOUSTIC TRIO with Alessio Velliscig and Giovanni Bresil. Through the years I have been the singer of different cover bands: GOLD&RUST, ATTENTI KOWALSKI, BLACK SNAKE (Whitesnake tribute), ARLANDRIA (Foo Fighters tribute). I had the chance of acting in two musicals on theater stages, of which JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, where I had the role of Peter. In the last years, 4B TRIO has become the most important band for me. I fell in love with cajon since the day I discovered it, and despite its flamenco origins his sound fitted perfectly with acoustic guitars even with a blues-rock attitude. In 2017 I became endorser of AW Cajon from Poland. I am also an active and competitive sportman, I played basketball for 15 years and now I’m into tennis. I love to travel around the world, discovering new places and meeting new people, something that makes me grow every time.

My motto is: live and let live.”

VOCALS, ACOUSTIC GUITAR

Alessio Velliscig:

“I started playing guitar at 14 and I’ve been a solo guitar player and songwriter for many rock and progressive bands until 2008 when the project of 4B Acoustic Trio (now WOODNITE) took off and I started singing as a lead singer as well, sharing the role with my brother. I studied composition at the conservatory in my hometown Udine where I also practiced piano as a complementary instrument, I wrote many orchestral or solo instruments pieces during my studies and I still practice orchestration especially when I write music for movies or documentaries. With different projects I toured many countries including U.S., Great Britain, Denmark, Holland and in 2013 I’ve been guitar player and opening act for Eric Martin’s European tour with whom I had my first shows in Eastern Europe, an area that I recently toured again with 4B Acoustic Trio.

I love writing lyrics as well and considering the idea of writing a novel in the future. I meditate dail, I’m an amateur muay thai practitioner and I consider these practices among my great ‘teachers’. I’m interested in philosophy, psychology and I love cooking.

My motto is: Everything is relative and that’s just fine.”

LUCA

VOCALS, ACOUSTIC GUITAR

Luca Moreale:

“Since my early age I had a passion for music and in particular the guitar, asking for the first guitar when I was 2 and a half years old to play and sing “as a game”. Around the age of 9 I became interested in studying chords and playing while I was singing from the beginning.

After years of strumming and arpeggios the interest in the electric guitar grew and, at the age of 13, I started taking lessons that later led me to have lessons with Alessio Velliscig, with whom, after about 3 years, started a collaboration in several projects, including 4B.

Around the same time I started working as a live audio technician and, learning the basics of sound and recording, I quickly became passionate about the world of recording, creating my own music production business, MoRecords (Udine).

I have played and collaborated with various artists and bands, including Doro Gjat, The Morning, Jimi Barbiani, Nick Eyes, Blank Forest, Alvise Nodale and many others.”
